February 2013 saw the opening of the new £1m revamped SportSpace, Hemel Hempstead. The centre now includes the very latest equipment in the industry providing new and exciting challenges for its customers.
Absolute Performance designed and installed a complete functional training zone which includes a designated boxing area and an awesome monster rig.
The rig provides space for up to 10 people to train at a time, bringing a whole new meaning to circuit training, and making it accessible to people of all levels of ability.
The rig has monkey bars, dipping station, step up plates, medicine ball rebounder and multi-grip chin bars as well as suspension trainers, punch bags and battling ropes.
We installed the rigs to create an area in our centres that allowed our Fitness Team to educate members on how to utilise their body weight to achieve maximum results. Members can work at their own level and pace, without the limitations of movement that comes from some fixed-resistance and cardio machines. Our Group Functional Workouts bring people of all levels and different goals together, in a fun, innovative and social environment.
