Situated on the south bank of the Thames, Bermondsey is a thriving area packed with shops, restaurants, bars and stylish residential developments. The award winning London Square Bermondsey is just such a development and we were approached to create a gym that could be used exclusively by the residents of the converted Pickle Factory apartment and penthouse suites.
With properties valued at over £2.5m, the expectations on the standard of our design, workmanship and equipment were equally as high. We set out to design a facility that included a full selection of exceptional cardio machines, a half rack with integrated platform and our own Apex training plates, dumbbells and accessories.
The development itself was constructed during a five year period and our work had to be planned and managed alongside the building developers and main contractors. Access to a live building site is often restricted, but our strategic planning, delivery and installation teams integrated seamlessly into the wider project plan, ensuring residents could take advantage of their new facilities as soon as they moved in.
As with any of the facilities we design and install we have been able to ensure 24/7 availability by offering regular servicing and maintenance since its opening.
