Our team has extensive experience in transforming training environments to meet the demands of professional athletes. Having previously supplied industry-leading equipment to FA Wales, we were brought in to replace the national team’s damaged gym flooring, delivering a high-performance solution with a fast turnaround.
Withstanding the pressures of elite sport
We supplied 40m² of our 40mm APEX heavyweight performance flooring, finished in red to match the organisation’s brand colours. Our most robust and durable tile, this flooring solution was chosen to meet the training facility’s high-impact demands as it provides maximum protection for the subfloor.
The 4mm EPDM top layer enhances grip and wear resistance, while the 36mm PUR-bonded rubber base absorbs impact and reduces noise, making it ideal for high-footfall facilities, including elite sports. This choice of floor tile will reduce the need for costly repairs and provides long-term performance.
Designed to your vision
We also installed a custom sled turf track which was complete with the FA Wales badge and brand colours. This provides a durable, hard-wearing surface ideal for sled pushes, pulls and other high-intensity conditioning work. The turf creates a professional-grade training area that seamlessly integrates into the existing facility while enhancing the overall look and feel of the gym.
To complement the racks in the training space, we also supplied and fitted custom-branded oak platform inserts, which provides a safe and durable solution for strength training. Platforms provide a dedicated surface for lifting while helping to protect the floor beneath and create a defined area for strength-based training. The platforms also incorporate the FA Wales branding to create a distinctive and cohesive finish while bringing a sense of pride throughout the space.
