Recognised for its great sporting credentials, as well as its world-renowned academic excellence, the University of Cambridge wanted to invest in an elite training gym within the team training room at the new state-of-the-art University Sports Centre.
Our experience of working with professional clubs and with the education sector meant that we were well placed to help. The aim was to create an open, flowing gym design with smart gym flooring options to allow a variety of functional training styles.
Using 3D gym design software we designed a facility that would enable all of the University’s sporting teams to train better and smarter. We included elite strength equipment from Werksan and from our own bespoke range providing quality, great value for money and maximum impact.
The new gym is an impressive addition to the University’s facilities, further bolstering the vibrant sports scene that exists on the campus and in the wider community. We’re proud to have been a part of this.
It’s a unique space that is going to make a huge difference to the training options available to the sports people of the University and the wider Cambridge community.
