Stone Personal Training

The project

Stone is a personal training studio based over two sites in London. In 2019 new owners purchased the business and set about updating and refurbishing the two locations. The task was to create a nice open space with the best functional equipment and areas for bodyweight training, along with handpicking some specific cardio equipment.

Why did stone choose Absolute Performance?

Robbie Johnson from Stone explains

Simon and the team also took a no-nonsense approach, with no extra fluff or pressure to add pieces of equipment which we weren’t looking to add. They grasped what we were looking to do .with the open, natural feel, whilst wanting the premium equipment when it came to Olympic lifting and strength and conditioning equipment.

Robbie continued

We found Absolute Performance through a google search. It seemed that Simon and the team had a better understanding of what we were looking to do versus the other suppliers we were talking to. That, mixed in with the calibre of clients that they have worked with previously and they seemed like the perfect company to work with us.

The install

Simon put together 3D concepts of the gym, which allowed Stone to understand how they could use the space in comparison to other suppliers, which were too busy in detail and less about what they were looking to achieve.

The communication, which is key to any project, was very good and clear throughout, especially between AP and other contractors on site. The timescale to get the gyms open was tight, but Absolute Performance worked late to ensure that the deadline was met and the gyms were completed.”

The result

“The whole experience was good. The result of the work Absolute Performance has delivered means that we have some of the best training spaces in London. The equipment is high quality, the finish is great, our facilities are open and clutter-free. We are very happy to recommend Absolute Performance”.
